Wisconsin QUEST cardholders can check their FoodShare and EBT Cash funds in several ways. You can call the 24/7 customer service line, use a mobile app, log in to the ebtEDGE online portal, look at your last store receipt, or visit an ATM. Each method provides quick access to your current benefit information.
1. By Phone
Calling the 24-hour QUEST Card Service line is a direct way to hear your balance.
Call 877-415-5164. This is a toll-free number available 24/7.
Choose your preferred language. Options include English, Spanish, Hmong, and Russian, with many others available according to the state’s multilingual fact sheets.
Enter your 16-digit card number, followed by your 4-digit PIN.
Listen for your current FoodShare and EBT Cash balances. You can also choose the menu option to hear recent transactions.
2. Using the Benny App
Using the Benny app allows you to see your balance in real-time on your smartphone.
Download the Benny app from the Apple App Store or Google Play and create an account.

First, check your balance. You can do this on the Benny app, the ebtEDGE website, or by calling QUEST Card Service at 877-415-5164.
If your card is new, call the activation number on its sticker to set a PIN before using it.
For a locked PIN, you can either wait until after midnight or call to reset it.
If the card is still declined, contact QUEST Card Service to check your card’s status or request a replacement.
Forgotten, Blocked, or Compromised PIN
Your PIN is required for every transaction. Entering it incorrectly three consecutive times will lock the card for the rest of the day as a security measure.
To reset your PIN, call 877-415-5164. Ignore the first automated prompt and press 2 to speak with an agent. Ask them to “remove” the current PIN. You can then call back and use the automated system to choose a new one.
If an agent is unable to assist, ask for a supervisor or provide a callback number for your regional office to follow up.
When choosing a new PIN, use a memorable four-digit number that is not related to your birthday or address. Avoid writing it on the card itself.
